Travel Trade Bowling C’ships on Nov. 11

The 20th edition of the Travel Trade Sports Club Bowling Championships 2023 will be held on November 11 at the Strikes Cosmic Bowling Centre, TB Jayah Mawatha, Colombo 10 from 11.00 am onwards.

Entries are called from the 170 strong Travel Trade SC affiliated member firms and will close on November 8 with, Gayani Karunaratne C/o Aitken Spence Travels, Vauxhall Tower II 4th Floor, Colombo 2 at 3.00 pm.

This popular event which is the sixth tournament on the TTSC multi sports events calendar, having earlier completed the Carrom, Pool, Indoor Softball Cricket ‘Sixes’, Soccer Sevens and Archery.

In the previous tournament held on November 26, 2022 at the same venue, debutants, ITQ Lanka ‘Legends’ emerged as the new Gold winner. Exotic Holidays ‘B’ won the silver and Aitken Spence Travels ‘A’ won the bronze. Rizwan Mannan from Exotic Holidays ‘B’ with a grand total of 405 points from three rounds was adjudged as the most outstanding player of the tournament. (TBR)
