Trial fixed to hear printing of ‘Malagiya Eththo’ case

Anuradhapura Magistrate Nalaka Jayasuriya fixed to hear the case related to the alleged illegal printing and sale of copies of ‘Malagiya Eththo’ book written by Prof.Ediriweera Sarachchandra by a shopkeeper in Anuradhapura for November 14.

When this case was called earlier, Lalitha Sarachchandra, wife of Prof.Ediriweera Sarachchandra and Anura Dahanayake, the manager of the company, that prints and distributes copies of the book ‘Malagiya Eththo’, gave evidence in open court.

The owner of a shop in Anuradhapura has been accused before the court of the above alleged felony.

According to a complaint made, Lalitha Sarachchandra, the wife of Prof. Ediriweera Sarachchandra to the Commercial Crime Investigation Division of the CID, the suspect shop owner was arrested earlier by the CID.
