Trinity awards ‘Lion’ for two boxers

Lion award for Trinity College boxers Waruna Bandara and Salmaan Faris both who won bronze medals in the 64 kg and 48 kg segments, respectively in the Sri Lanka under 20 team at the 34th South Asian/South East Asian Boxing Championship held in Penang, Malaysia recently. They were awarded the highest award of the school “Lion” at the last assembly of the year held at the school hall. The awarding ceremony was graced by the school principal Rev. Araliya Jayasundara. Colors too were awarded for top sportsmen in the field of Rugger, Athelatics, Weightlifting, Hockey, Swimming and Cadeting.
