Examination Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara told the Daily News that private tutoring related to the GCE Advanced Level Examination is prohibited after midnight on December 29.
The Examination Department informs that organizing and conducting support classes for examination candidates, conducting subject lectures, seminars, and workshops, printing and distributing guesswork papers for the examination, displaying posters and banners stating that guessed questions will be given, publishing the same through pamphlets, electronic or print media or social media networks and possessing such material are prohibited after December 29.
Jayasundara said that if any person, institution or any other party acts without regard to these orders, that person, institution or party may be found guilty of breaking the law. If any person or institution or any other party violates or infringes these orders in any way, a complaint can be made to the nearest police station, police headquarters or the Examination Department.
