Two jeeps with same number, company manager arrested

Western Province North Traffic Division Officers found two jeeps with the same registration number.

One of these two vehicles, belongs to the chief incumbent Thera of a temple in Weligama. Police said the other vehicle belongs to a manager of an insurance company. The manager is a resident of Kalubowila.

Police said both these vehicles will be submitted to an Inspector and a report will be obtained and further investigations will be conducted based on the information revealed there.

Meanwhile the manager of the Insuarance Company has been arrested as he failed to produce several documents related to the vehicle and as he had hidden the vehicle after Police started investigations.Police had subsequently found the vehicle. He has been remanded after being produced in courts.
