Two youths drown filming TikTok video

Kattankudy Police said that two youths drowned in the Naval Adi Lagoon after their boat met with an accident while filming a TikTok video. Four other youth who were on the boat had escaped and were able to swim ashore. The boat according to the police had capsized, after a part of it broke while the youth were filming the video.

The deceased are K. Thirujan (18), a resident of Anandapuram, Batticaloa, and T. Kirushan (19), also a resident of Batticaloa.
