UNICEF Representative meets Health secretary

A special meeting between the representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Christian Skoog and Health Secreatary Palitha Mahipala was held at the Ministry of Health recently.

During the meeting, the UNICEF Representative, informed the Health Secretary about the programs and projects that the organization is implementing in relation to the health sector in Sri Lanka.

A survey and research on the next steps to be taken to further raise the level of child nutrition in Sri Lanka has already been implemented, and after the completion of the project, the related report will be given to the Secretary of Health and steps will be taken to implement the future program by taking his advice and guidance.
