United Nations’ Day celebrations tomorrow

The United Nations Association (UNA) of Sri Lanka has organised 78th United Nations’ Day celebration which will be held tomorrow (22) at 3. 00 p.m. at the Sri Lanka Medical Association Auditorium, Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo 7. It will be held under the patronage of UNA’s President M.M. Zavahir.

Former Kuwait’s Ambassador and Past President of the UNA S.A.C.M. Zuhyle will be the chief guest and former Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN in Vienna Dr. Dayantha Laksiri Mendis will be the guest of honour.

Parliamentarians, Diplomat Corps, teachers and students of UN Study Circle and UNA members will grace the ceremony, said UNA Executive Chairman Dr. M.M.M. Rushanudeen.
