UNP Sathyagraha at Hyde Park today

The United National Party (UNP) will hold a sathyagraha tomorrow (25) at 3 pm at Hyde Park Grounds in Colombo with the determination that all should unite to formulate a national policy that will not change even if there is a change of governments to brighten the dark future.

The United National Party invites all those who have a sincere desire to rebuild the country to come to Hyde Park on that day dressed in white without any party affiliations. Vajira

Abeywardena said he hoped that a large number of people with sincere love for the country would take part in this non-violent sathyagraha, modeled on the great sathyagraha movement launched by former President J.R.Jayewardene to lift the country out of the abyss in 1975.Party Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and other UNP leaders are scheduled to participate in this sathyagraha campaign.
