UNP to decide Party Convention today

A United National Party Working Committee meeting will be held today (2) at the Sirikotha party headquarters in Pitakotte under the patronage of UNP Leader President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

This is to take a final decision regarding the United National Party Convention.

Party General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara said the decision taken by the UNP Management Committee to hold the 76th anniversary and Party Convention of the UNP on September 10 will be presented to the Working Committee, for their approval. The UNP Working Committee will also take a decision on the venue for the Party Convention and the composition of the organizing committee.
