US Commissioner David Curry calls on Governer Thondaman

David Curry, the Commissioner of US Commission on International Religious Freedom paid a courtesy call at the Governor Secretariat, Eastern Province and met Senthil Thondaman.

They had a discussion on the current situation of Religious activities, and about safeguarding the religious rights of all communities in the Eastern Province; the Commissioner also recalled and appreciated the recent measures taken by the Governor in the Eastern Province.

During this meeting American delegates Stephan Sheneck, Jamie Staley, Supervisory Policy Advisor Sema Hasan, Policy Analyst Ruby Woodside, Political Specialists from American Embassy Sandeep Croos, and Political Experts of American Embassy participated in the discussion.
