USA claim Women’s volleyball Gold Medal

TOKYO, August 8 – The USA had a comfortable 3-0 win over Brazil in the final of the Women’s volleyball match to take the Gold Medal of the 2020 Olympic Games at the Ariake Arena today.

Brazil could not match the American firepower as the USA Women registered a runway 75-55 win. Brazil conceded only four points in the first set but the USA came back strongly to win all three sets 25-21, 25-20, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Serbia beat South Korea 3-0 in the third-place playoff match to take the Bronze Medal. Serbia were far more superlative than the team from Seoul to end with a final score of 75-48.
