USD climbs further

The official selling rate of the US Dollar as announced by the Central Bank yesterday stood at Rs.362.9987 whilst the buying rate of the US Dollar had been declared at Rs. 350.0597.

The selling rate of Sterling Pound, Euro, Swiss Franc stood at Rs. 455.3472 , Rs. 385.4584, Rs. 373.1052 respectively. The Average Weighted Prime Lending Rate (AWPR) and the Lowest Prime Rate (LPR) during the week ended April 29, 2022, by all commercial banks was 16.38 % and 9.50 % respectively. The Average Weighted Deposit Rate (AWDR) of commercial banks for the month of April -2022 was 5.52 %.
