“Use fuel sparingly”

In a Twitter post he said, “the bitter truth is that we are in the midst of a foreign exchange crisis. In the first six months of this year, 18 per cent of the import bill was for fuel. In the second half of the year this could even be higher as 25 per cent. Let us use fuel sparingly to save foreign exchange for the importation of essential items such as medicinal drugs and vaccine”.
