Varun Beverages inaugurates free medical centre at Ranala
Varun Beverages Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd. (VBLL), a leading carbonated beverage manufacturer and the official bottling and distribution franchise of Pepsi Co Beverages in Sri Lanka, recently announced the opening of its latest medical centre, ‘AARU Health Clinic’, dedicated to serving the underprivileged communities neighbouring its plant in Embulgama, Ranala.
The RJ Foundation, the CSR arm of Varun Beverages, launched the AARU Health Clinic initiative in 2022 close to its factory establishments across India to provide access to free and quality health care support, to underserved communities especially economically weaker and disadvantaged sections of society.
The expansion and established of AARU Health Clinic in Sri Lanka are also part that initiative which reflects Varun Beverages Lanka Pvt Ltd’s commitment to the well-being of the communities where it operates.
‘AARU’ will provide essential free medical consultations with qualified doctors, access to free medication and free laboratory testing facilities making the quality health care affordable and accessible for all.
The Clinic was inaugurated in the presence of dignitaries and VBL officials. Varun Beverages Lanka Country Head Sri Lanka Sandeep Kumar said; “We are incredibly proud to launch ‘AARU’ and offer our neighbours critical healthcare services. This initiative reflects Varun Beverages Lanka commitment to building a healthier future for the communities where we operate.”
