Vidma Engineering and Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., a prominent steel-based product manufacturing company, has been honoured with the Best Entrepreneur Award at the Asia Miracle Awards 2024.

The award was received by the company’s Managing Director, Gamini Wanniarachchi, at the ceremony held at the Waters Edge Hotel in Colombo. Established in 2007, Vidma Engineering and Trading began its journey by fabricating steel and has since experienced remarkable growth, developing a diverse range of high-quality products.

Through dedicated research into international quality materials and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, the company has continually expanded its offerings. In 2011, Vidma started manufacturing gutters using premium materials imported from South Korea, Vietnam, and China, and began producing roofing materials in 2016.

The company now boasts a daily production capacity of 30,000 linear feet of gutters and over 50,000 linear feet of tile roofing, roofing sheets, and cladding. Vidma Engineering and Trading operates under three trade names: Super Shine, Vidma Super, and Union Steel Vidma, with a vision to continue its growth and innovation.
