Viral disease spreading in Anuradhapura

It is reported that with the end of the dry weather condition a viral diseasesis been spreading rapidly in some villages in Anuradhapura district.

Due to the spread of eye diseases and small children suffering from diseases such as cough and fever, patients visiting to government and private hospitals to get treatment.

School children and adults with such symptoms should refer to a doctor and seek medicines, said the Dr. W M Palitha Bandara Provincial Director of Health Services Provincial Department of Health Services North Central Province Anuradhapura.

He also said, the general public not to have undue fears of the matter.
