Water Board Plans 10%-30% Reduction in Water Charges

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced plans to reduce water charges by 10% to 30%.

This decision aligns with recent reductions in electricity bills. A committee appointed to review water tariffs is set to submit its report to the Chairman of the board in the coming days.

Following this, the Chairman will present the proposed adjustments to the Minister overseeing the sector, who will then submit them to the Cabinet for approval.
