Water supply to be disrupted in several areas across Kalutara and Colombo districts

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced scheduled water supply interruptions affecting several areas in the Colombo and Kalutara districts.

The interruptions will take place as follows:

Moratuwa: 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. (5 hours) – including Koralawella, Katukurunda, Modara, Madamgahawatta, Polwatta, Sriya Mawatha, Clovius Mawatha, Gunawardhanarama Road, Lake Villa, St. Peter’s Lane, P.M. Fernando Mawatha, Mahavidana Mawatha, Janajaya Road, St. Peter’s Road, Francisco Place, Egoda Uyana and Melville Estate.

Panadura: 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. (5 hours) – Panadura, Kiriberiya, Hirana, Keselwatta and Pinnawatta.

Bandaragama: 9.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. (12 hours) – Bandaragama, Raigama, Milleniya, Walmilla, Kidelpitiya, Alubomulla and Moronthuduwa.

Horana: 4.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. (5 hours) – Horana, Madurawala and Poruwadanda.

Kumbuka: 4.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. (5 hours) – Kumbuka, Gonapola, Kahathuduwa and Kiriwattuduwa.

Ingiriya: 4.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. (5 hours) – Ingiriya and Nambapana.

Piliyandala: From 4.00 p.m. on August 4 until 8.00 a.m. on August 5 (16 hours) – Piliyandala, Werahera, Madapatha, Honnanthara, Kesbewa, Polgasowita, Kahapola, Moratuwa Road, Kospalana, Gangarama Road and Neelammahara.

The NWSDB advised consumers in the affected areas to make adequate arrangements ahead of the scheduled water supply interruption. (Newswire)
