Welikanda Central College bowled out for one run in their second innings by Sewanapitiya Maha Vidyalaya in their first round fixture of the Under 13 division three inter schools cricket tournament.
Sathsara Wijesinghe, right arm medium paceman of Sewanapitiya Maha Vidyalaya claimed 12 wickets for 9 runs in the match against Welikanda Central College.
Hirun Matheesha (300*) and Damsilu Ranasinghe (100*) of Gonagala Maha Vidyalaya made an unbroken 433 runs stand for their fourth wicket against Neluwa MMV. Hirun Matheesha scored unbeaten 300 runs in 100 balls with 27 boundaries and 27 sixes.
Sri Sumangalodaya SS opener Dumindu Chenath scored unbeaten 200 runs in 92 balls with 24 boundaries and 12 sixes against Siri Abayathissa Maha Vidyalaya Wathugedara.
Gonagala Maha Vidyalaya beat Neluwa MMV by innings and 361 runs and Sewanapitiya Maha Vidyalaya Welikanda Central College by innings and 89 runs.
Kalahe Sri Sumangalodaya Secondary School beat Siri Abayathissa Maha Vidyalaya by innings and 242 runs and Mahinda College Galle (B) beat Nawandagala Maha Vidyalaya by innngs and 108 runs.
