West Indies stun Australia in thriller as Shamar Joseph captures 7/68

West Indies broke a long dry spell in Australia with a nail-biting win in the pink-ball Test match at the Gabba. Shamar Joseph was the hero, taking an impressive 7 wickets for 68 runs, helping his team clinch an eight-run victory. This win ended a 27-year drought for West Indies in Australia and halted Australia’s 11-match winning streak in day-night Tests.

On Day 4 in Brisbane, Shamar Joseph turned the game around with his remarkable bowling performance. He caused a collapse in Australia’s batting lineup, taking 4 wickets for just 23 runs before the Dinner break. Despite Steve Smith’s resilient innings of 91 not out, Australia couldn’t recover, and West Indies shared the honors in the two-match series.
