When Lanka’s victories brought cheers to cricket fans

Pallekele International cricket stadium was packed to capacity at the recently concluded two ODI’s and last T20 between Australia and Sri Lanka. The third and final T 20 between the two teams was Sri Lanka emerged victorious.

The first ODI which was interrupted by rain as well as second game which Sri Lanka won by 26 runs under the Duckworth–Lewis–System (DLS).

The spectators of these matches showed their full commitment to the game while ground staff performed a wonderful job to resume the matches after the rain interruption. These matches played at the Pallekele International cricket stadium and R.Pemadasa International cricket stadium gave the spectators something to cheer about despite these difficult times. Cricket is the game which also lifts up the nation with spectators anxiously waiting to see the final outcome.
