Why has Channel 4 deleted Easter attack documentary from its website? – Namal

SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa yesterday questioned in Parliament why Channel 4 had deleted its video on the Easter Sunday attack from its website if it was authentic as claimed. He said that Channel 4 has a long-term hatred for my family. Since the end of the war in 2009, this channel has been constantly showing videos against the Rajapaksas. I do not consider Channel 4 as a media organization. It is a video film producing company. This organization is working again to clean up the hatred of ending the war in 2009.

He further said, the Easter Sunday attack should be investigated. Almost 720 people have been taken into custody and legal actions have been taken against 70 people in this regard. At the same time, we have a responsibility not to politicize this process. But today some people are trying to take advantage by politicising this issue. I don’t believe it is possible to arrest the real perpetrators of the Easter Sunday attacks in this way. We must do justice to those who lost their lives,” Rajapaksa said.
