Woman accompanying child with fake passport nabbed

The Katunayake Unit officers of the Criminal Investigation Department arrested a woman who tried to travel to Italy with a child on a foreign passport obtained in the name of another person by presenting false information.

According to the Criminal Investigation Department, the 33-year-old woman is a resident of Gurudeniya, Kandy.

According to the Criminal Investigation Department, the woman has prepared to take a minor to Italy with a foreign passport prepared with fake information.
