Woman who had dispute with husband found dead

Kesbewa Police say that the body of the mother of two who left her house Saturday (5) afternoon at 5 pm following a dispute with her husband was found floating in the Kahpola Bolgoda River at 6 a.m. on Sunday (6).

The deceased woman is a resident of Kasbewa Kahapola named Karunawathi (71).

After looking for his mother since the previous evening due to his mother not coming home, her son found the body of the mother floating in the Bolgoda river on Sunday and informed the Police.

Police security will be deployed at the place where the body was found and the Kesbewa Magistrate Court will continue the investigations.
