Woman’s selfie helps Police to nab robbers within two hours

The Homagama Police say that two robbers who stole a gold chain from a woman were caught within two hours after the crime because the woman took a selfie photo with her mobile phone of the robber who robbed her after placing a knife to her neck.

Within a few minutes of the incident, two Police officers had informed   after the crime because the woman took a selfie photo with her mobile phone of the robber who robbed her after placing a knife to her neck.

Within a few minutes of the incident, two Police officers had informed the Homagama Police about the robbery and had sent the selfie picture.

A Police team which was immediately dispatched had arrested the robbers who were on a motorbike in the Pitipana area.In their possession, the Police found nearly ten and a half grams of heroin, a mortgage receipt for Rs.90,000 from a Godagama bank and a Rambo type knife.
