Rathnawali Balika, Gampaha register third win

Defending champion Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha recorded their third win in their first round fixtures of the Under 19 Girl’s Division One Inter Schools Cricket tournament.

Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha beat Anura Vidyalaya Matara by six wickets in the first round fixtures. Sri Lanka Women’s National cap Vishmi Gunarathne of Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha missed a century again by just four runs. She scored unbeaten 96 runs against Anura Vidyalaya Matara in this match and she scored unbeaten 92 runs against Princess of Wales College Moratuwa.

Defending champion Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha played four matches and won three matches against Princess of Wales College Moratuwa, Anura Vidyaaya Matara and St. Anthony’s Girl’s College Katugastota.
