The Sri Lanka Navy intensified its emergency relief operations in Ja-Ela yesterday, after a flood situation caused by the overflowing of the ‘Ja-Ela Canal’, with recent heavy rainfall.
Accordingly, the Navy relief teams came forward to provide immediate assistance to the affected people in the area.
In response to the flooding in the Bandigoda area of Ja-Ela caused by the overflowing of Ja-Ela Canal, the Navy relief teams swiftly provided the affected community with prepared meals and cater to their needs.
